Jscreen's mission

Jscreen's mission is to ensure every adult in the United States has access to preventive genetic testing and counseling to inform their reproductive options and understanding of their hereditary cancer risks.

Through our innovative platform, we provide consumer-initiated access to genetic testing, empowering individuals to make informed decisions that shape healthier futures. By fostering awareness and education, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Hereditary Cancer Testing: learn your inherited cancer risk with testing for BRCA1, BRCA2 and 46 other genes that can cause cancer.

Reproductive Carrier Screening: learn your risk for Tay-Sachs Disease, cystic fibrosis and over 260 other conditions you could pass on to your future children.

How it works:

3. Pay the subsidized upfront fee of just $18*
4. Pick up your kit at Temple Israel on 8/29/25 (after 7pm Shabbat Services) OR 9/1/25 (during the Labor Day Picnic 10:30-2)

*Cost: $18 upfront fee per test (the rest is billed to your insurance). Thanks to the support of the Lacey Foon Family Fund & A. Alfred Tubman Foundation, the upfront cost is reduced.
