Temple Israel invites Jewish choices for all – Jewish or not, member or not, for both interfaith and Jewish families. We welcome, educate and offer support to all people who are new to Jewish living either through marriage, conversion, or any born Jew who would like to learn more about practicing Judaism. Temple Israel opens its doors to anyone seeking a place for themselves among the Jewish community.

New beginnings

This 5-week course is for people wishing to explore the idea of converting to Judaism.  Students will discover what it means to join the Jewish People, and discuss topics such as interpersonal relationships, family, joining a community rich in customs and tradition, and maintaining a balance with old lives and the new one. Participants will be encouraged to share experiences, develop supportive relationships, and learn from one another
