Temple Israel's Robert Sosnick Family Life Center and Jewish Family Services are proud to continue this valuable support group, specifically focused on family caregivers.
The group will meet on Tuesdays throughout May & June at 1:30pm at Temple Israel.
Facilitated by Emily Gordon, LLMSW, the group’s goal is to provide a space for caregivers to share their experiences, learn about resources, and discuss practical strategies for caring for a loved one.
Some of the topics covered will include:
- Confidential, judgment-free zone to vent and ask questions
- Avoid isolation and loneliness
- Prevent caregiver burnout
- Reduce stress and low mood
- Boost caregiving confidence
- Improve mental health and wellness
- Gain a sense of community
- Learn what to expect in the future
