7:00 PM - 9:00 PMTemple IsraelBryan Jones will present the Fallen Petals production which was originally performed by the Detroit Chamber Music in 2022. Through music and poetry, the production highlights the stories of four young Michiganders who were sentenced to life without parole.
Jones, who is the community engagement director for Detroit Chamber Music, will take us through aspects of the original performance through video, and speak life for a justice-impacted person. The theme of the piece is how incredibly hard it is to be a teenager who takes a horribly wrong turn in life and ends up with a life sentence without parole.
