Early Childhood Center Application 2022-2023

The Susan & Rabbi Harold Loss Early Childhood Center welcomes children ages 20 months (as of September 1) through Kindergarten. Children have the option of half day (9:00-12:00) or full day (9:00-2:30) classes, for three or five days a week. Preschool and Pre-K classes also have the option of a blended 3 Full/2 Half day schedule. Children are placed according to their age as of September 1, to be consistent with the public schools. Children with a full day schedule remain with the same teachers and classmates the entire day. Early Care is available at 8:00am. After Care is available until 5:30pm.

Enrollment Terms

The policy of Temple Israel is to accept applications only when all unpaid balances from prior ECC programs have been paid, unless satisfactory arrangements have been made.

• A non-refundable application fee of $100 must accompany this application.

• Payment must be made according to the tuition payment schedule.
• Enrollment will be canceled if tuition obligations are not met.

• All Students must adhere to Temple Israel vaccination policy. Enrollment will be cancelled if the vaccination policy is not met. See vaccination policy.

• There are no tuition adjustments or refunds because of absence, inclement weather, government mandated school closures, ordinary illness or family vacations.
• If public health concerns require closing the school building, there will be no refund extended for the trimester in progress.
• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, Temple Israel may dismiss or decline to re-enroll a child if Temple Israel determines, in its sole discretion, the child or parent(s)/guardian(s) engaged in conduct or behavior which does not serve the best interest of Temple Israel or its Early Childhood Center.
• Because of our class structure, we are unable to provide for make-up days.
• Your financial commitment is based on full year enrollment.
• While your child’s safety is a priority for Temple Israel, by signing this Agreement, you understand and voluntarily assume all risks related to your child’s exposure to communicable diseases, such as COVID-19, and you agree on behalf of your child not to hold Temple Israel and any of its employees or affiliates liable for illness or injury.

ECC Tuition Payment Schedule

• If the application was received by 5-1-2022, a $100 discount will be applied to your tuition.
• Please make checks payable to Temple Israel or charge via ACH, Visa, Discover, Mastercard or American Express. Credit card payments are charged a 2% credit card processing fee.
• Payment requires a credit card on file for three equal payments due August 1, December 1 & March 1.

Sibling Discount

• 15% discount on tuition for a second sibling enrolled in a younger program.
• 20% discount on tuition for a second sibling enrolled in the same age level program.
