We are honored to welcome the University of Michigan's Raoul Wallenberg Distinguished University Professor of History and Professor of Asian and Comparative History, Dr. Vic Lieberman, to Temple Israel on Sunday, July 10 at 11 AM for the discussion, "Why There's No Peace in the Middle East."

Why does the struggle -- now over 100 years old -- drag on interminably? Why have all efforts at negotiation failed? Is the two-state solution now dead? What alternative scenarios, if any, are possible? How should American Jews understand the conflict, and what role, if any, should they play?
