Come join Zipser Foundation Artist in Residence Aaron Markovitz for a hands on, comprehensive look into his songwriting process. Whether it's setting liturgy to music, or crafting original pieces from scratch. Aaron will guide you through the steps that it takes to translate the ideas in your head onto paper, the sounds you hear onto your instrument and the lyrics you write into a melody to be sung and enjoyed by many!

This workshop is not just for seasoned musicians and accomplished instrumentalists. All it takes is a basic knowledge of your instrument, a chord instrument is best (guitar, piano, ukulele) and a little creativity!

There is no cost to attend this program. We just ask that you pre-register.
