An Inspiring Evening of Hope, Courage, and Resilience

Join us for a powerful night that honors the strength of the human spirit.

Hear firsthand from Ofir Engel, a 19-year-old who was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7th from Kibbutz Be’eri and has emerged as a symbol of survival and resilience.

This unforgettable evening will also feature:

Shalva through the Lens of War – a moving photo exhibit capturing the war through the eyes of Israel’s top photojournalists and the ongoing heroic efforts of Shalva, a Jerusalem-based organization that supports individuals with disabilities—especially during times of crisis.

5:45 PM – Pre-Glow Reception & Exhibit Opening

Meet Ofir Engel and the Shalva team, explore the powerful Shalva through the Lens of War photo exhibit and enjoy light bites and drinks.

Temple Israel Members: $36 / Nonmembers: $54

7:00 PM – Main Program (followed by Shalva in a War exhibit experience)

Ofir Engel: A Story of Survival. Clergy-Led Panel Discussion – exploring stories of resilience, healing, and hope.
