Teens are you ready to change the world?

THIS IS a phenomenal opportunity to grow as a person and to engage in the political system in our country. We are heading to Washington D.C! from Friday, February 23rd to Monday, February 26th, 2024. Rabbi Josh, Ross Klar (our Youth Director) and Temple Israel teens, are descending on the National Mall to join the L’taken Seminars hosted by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC). Washington DC will provide the footing for you to impact our country as you develop your views on social justice topics and share these ideas with decision-makers on Capitol Hill. We have an amazing 4-day trip planned, beginning with an awesome day of exploring D.C just with Temple Israel followed by a weekend with L’Taken.

• Fly in to Washington DC on Friday morning and we will tour DC with Rabbi Josh & Ross Klar in a private group experience with ONLY Temple Israel on Friday
• Learn about the current Social Justice initiatives of the Reform Movement
• Lobby Your Congresspeople in private sessions on Capitol Hill
• Havdalah on the National Mall
• Visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum
• And much more…
