“Midrash & Mimosas” Brunch w/Rabbi Marla J. Feldman
At 10am, join a Torah study session with Rabbi Marla J. Feldman while enjoying mimosas and brunch. Following brunch at 11:30am, author Rabbi Feldman will discuss her book, Biblical Women Speak: Hearing Their Voices Through New and Ancient Midrash. The book combines biblical text with a creative revisioning of ten biblical women’s stories, an analysis of the related classical midrash and commentaries, and the authors insights for a modern world.

MOUNTAINTOP: The Inside Story of Michigan’s 1997 National Title Climb
Join author and Temple member, Mark Snyder, as he discusses his new book. 

A fast-paced roller-coaster tale of the only national championship team in the modern history of Michigan football. Mountaintop tells the story of an unheralded leader of imperfect men who came together for a moment larger than themselves. College football fans will relate to the climb and summiting of a perfect season. Special guests include Eddie Magnus.
