Join Temple Israel’s young adult community for Not Your Bubbie’s Bread Club, a hands-on introduction to the art (and joy!) of sourdough.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the full sourdough journey — from feeding and maintaining your starter, to mixing, shaping, and finally pulling a beautiful golden loaf from your own oven. No experience required — just curiosity, community, and a willingness to get a little floury.

Come connect with other young adults, learn a skill you can bring home, and discover why sourdough has become the ultimate modern-day comfort food (sorry, Bubbie!).

Whether you're looking to master a new hobby or simply enjoy a warm, delicious evening together, this class is the perfect place to start.

The CORe programming is geared toward ages 21-39 but all are welcome!
