6th Grade Bus Tour of Jewish Detroit

Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 9am*

As a culmination of the 4-week Traveling Trunk curriculum, 6th graders (accompanied by a loving adult) are invited to participate in this newly revamped bus tour of Jewish Detroit, presented in partnership with the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan.

• Experience the rich history of our Jewish ancestors in Detroit from early fur traders to modern entrepreneurs
• We'll run the bases of former Tiger stadium, explore The Dequindre Cut, and so much more!
• Meet at Temple Israel.
• Buses will depart promptly at 9am* and will return at around 1pm. 
• Buses are reserved based on registration. Please be sure to register no later than October 16th. 

*We encourage you to arrive by 8:45am!
