    What is Temple Israel?
    Temple Israel is a Reform Jewish Congregation which seeks to fulfill its religious and ethical goals by being a center for spiritual fulfillment, life-long learning, cultural enrichment, community leadership, social responsibility, and by lovingly entrusting our Reform Jewish tradition from generation to generation. We are committed in our support of the State of Israel and of the Jewish people throughout the world.

    When are the services?
    • Temple Israel holds Kabbalat Shabbat Services on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM. These services have a more casual atmosphere with contemporary prayers and music.

    • Shabbat morning services are held on Saturday at 10:30 AM.

    • B'nai mitzvah celebrations are held during Friday evening services at 8:00 PM and also on Saturday mornings and evenings.

    • During the summer months, end of June through August, Kabbalat Shabbat Services are held at 7:30 PM outside (weather permitting), under the stars in our beautiful garden, and are absolutely breathtaking.

    It’s true, Temple Israel is the largest Reform congregation in North America. What you really need to know, however, is that we are also known as the largest small congregation. Here we are in the habit of forming strong connections that can last lifetimes, and even through generations.
