Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah Classes
Temple Israel offers a two-year course for adults who wish to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. The Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah (ABBM) is a rewarding experience for any Temple Israel adult member who never became a Bar/Bat Mitzvah at age 13. This program will run from Fall 2010 through Spring 2012. The classes included in the two year course are:
• learn to read Hebrew (or polishing what you already know)
• explore Jewish liturgy
• foundation in Jewish customs, ceremonies, history and theology
